From vision to impact: our know-how in action
Propagation Model Tuning: Volcano model tuning for a national MNO
To improve the reliability of its radio simulations, a French national operator asked Siradel to update all its Volcano models. We ran a nationwide RF measurement campaign (CW & SCAN) across several frequency bands and environments ; flat rural, mountainous rural, urban ; then calibrated all 32 Volcano models used in the radio planning tool. The operator achieved a significant improvement in the reliability of its coverage maps and KPIs.
Private Network Design: 5G private network study in a railway maintenance centre
Before deploying its future 5G network, an industrial company asked Siradel to run a radio planning study to define technologies, frequency bands and antenna locations. Using a 3D digital model and advanced radio planning tools, our engineers studied several deployment scenarios to optimize coverage ; precisely defining the technical solution for the target use cases while optimizing deployment costs.
Private Network Design: LoRa network design for a system integrator
As part of a tender response, a French system integrator needed to design a LoRa network covering various use cases. Thanks to off-the-shelf geodata, Siradel’s teams automatically and optimally planned the future LoRa gateway network, while providing detailed KPIs on expected service levels and coverage.
